Database 101 Practical Relational Database Management System - PostgreSQL and MySQL

The backbone of any IT infrastructure rests on a database. PostgreSQL is the most powerful open source database, while MySQL is most ubiquituous. This course is intended for people with minimal GNU/Linux background (Linux 101, Linux 102, WebServer 101) and want to learn to install, configure and connect to a PostgreSQL or MySQL database through  CLI (command line interface) and SQL language(PSQL), Web, or GUI (e.g. PgadminIII).

This is a 10 hour hands-on course is intended to give you basic, yet  useful and functional skills.

The tasks are as following:

1. Install  and configure PostgreSQL dabase on Debian  GNU/Linux machine

2. Create and Manage users

3. Create and Manage Database

4.Create and modify tables and content
